What is an injectable?

How does it work?

When botulinum toxin is injected, it blocks certain nerve signals that make muscles contract. The muscles relax, reducing unwanted wrinkles. Giving your skin a boost for a more youthful, vibrant glow. This effect lasts about 3–6 months.

If I get Botox, do I have to continue getting it? What happens if I decide to not want botox after it wears off?

If you choose to not continue with injections, your skin will return to its natural state. Upkeep is not mandatory.

What can I expect?

You will receive a complimentary consultation. A good faith exam with our nurse practioner will be scheduled prior to your first appointment.

During your good faith exam, our nurse practioner will ask you health questions for medical clearance.This virtual visit will last no longer than 10 minutes.

Appointment durations vary between injection services. Injections are about 30 mins depending on areas of injection.

What will happen on the day of treatment?

First appointment: We will cleanse the skin, consult on injection site, mark the treatment site, and then place tiny injections directly into the appropriate muscles.

Our patients have noted minimal pain during procedures as the needles are very small and thin.

What should I know before my first appointment?

The Texas Medical Board requires an annual “good faith exam” to be completed by a nurse practitioner or doctor before receiving any treatment where a needle will pierce the skin. We will check our records when you book the appointment and schedule a free, virtual clearance.

How soon will I see the results?

Results can be seen anywhere on day 2 and take full effect within 14 days of your treatment in which a follow-up appointment will be scheduled. It’s a quick procedure with little to no downtown. Results typically last 3 to 6 months depending on which product you choose.
